Sarah is the founder of Wonderbag; a simple but revolutionary non-electric heat-retention cooker. It continues to cook food that has been brought to the boil by conventional methods for up to 12 hours without the use of additional fuel. The Wonderbag also keeps food and beverages cold; “Freeze it, bag it, store it, serve it”. Sarah has recently passed the one million mark for Wonderbags sold! In this episode, she shares the story of how she started the Wonderbag, along with lessons she’s learnt from her experience as an entrepreneur.

The Wonderbag
3 billion women around the world still cook over an open fire each day causing serious environmental and health impacts that disproportionately affect women and children. Every year, smoke inhalation from these fires and indoor air pollution is the leading cause of death globally killing over 4 million people and sickening many others. 50% of premature deaths will be children under five due to household air pollution. Wonderbag is improving the quality of millions of lives by providing them with a simple cooking device.

In this deeply personal book, Arianna talks candidly about her own challenges with managing time and prioritizing the demands of a career and raising two daughters — of juggling business deadlines and family crises, a harried dance that led to her collapse and to her “aha moment.” Drawing on the latest groundbreaking research and scientific findings in the fields of psychology, sports, sleep, and physiology that show the profound and transformative effects of meditation, mindfulness, unplugging, and giving, Arianna shows us the way to a revolution in our culture, our thinking, our workplace, and our lives.
