Sarah is the founder of Wonderbag; a simple but revolutionary non-electric heat-retention cooker. It continues to cook food that has been brought to the boil by conventional methods for up to 12 hours without the use of additional fuel. The Wonderbag also keeps food and beverages cold; “Freeze it, bag it, store it, serve it”. Sarah has recently passed the one million mark for Wonderbags sold! 3 billion women around the world still cook over an open fire each day causing serious environmental and health impacts that disproportionately affect women and children. Every year, smoke inhalation from these fires and indoor air pollution is the leading cause of death globally killing over 4 million people and sickening many others. 50% of premature deaths will be children under five due to household air pollution.
